MATTING POLICY

At Paris Paws Salon, your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. If your dog has severe matting, shaving is the safest and kindest option, as brushing out heavily matted areas can cause unnecessary discomfort. If the matting is manageable, I will always do my best to brush it out where possible.

If matting is significant or affects the length of your grooming appointment, a £10–£20 matting fee will be applied. This covers the additional time required, as well as the extra wear and product damage that severe matting can cause to grooming blades.

Please let me know before your appointment if you are aware of any matting, so I can allow enough time for your dog’s groom. Thank you for understanding and helping me keep your dog safe, comfortable and happy.

FLEA POLICY

I do not knowingly accept dogs with fleas. If fleas are discovered during your dog’s appointment, I may need to stop the groom. A £10 flea treatment fee will be added to the cost of the groom to cover the products and additional time required to treat the salon and prevent further spread.

Please check your dog for fleas before their appointment. Fleas can quickly spread to other dogs and throughout the salon, so your cooperation is extremely important.

If you discover fleas before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee. Thank you for helping me keep Paris Paws Salon clean, safe and flea-free!

CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand that plans can change, but as a small business, late cancellations and missed appointments have a big impact.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% cancellation fee

No-show: 100% of the grooming service cost

I understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen, and these will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

You’ll receive a confirmation when your appointment is booked and a reminder 24 hours before your appointment. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting my small business.
